AI & automation

AI Consulting for Dubai & UAE Businesses

We help UAE businesses decide where AI is worth building, what to buy instead, and how to run a pilot that proves or disproves the case. The output is a written plan your team can act on, whoever builds it.

Why start with consulting

Most failed AI projects didn't fail on the model. They failed because the data wasn't there, nobody owned the process, the success measure was vague or an off-the-shelf tool already did the job. A short, paid discovery finds those problems before you commit a build budget.

We're a delivery studio, so our advice comes from building AI agents, chatbots and workflow automation. That also means we'll tell you when the answer is a spreadsheet fix or a SaaS subscription rather than a project for us.

AI readiness assessment

We look at five areas and rate each as ready, workable or blocking.

Processes
Are the target processes documented, repeated often enough and owned by someone who can approve changes?
Data
Where the information lives, how clean and current it is, and whether systems expose it through APIs.
Systems
CRM, ERP, accounting, telephony and messaging tools, and how hard each is to integrate.
People
Who will use, supervise and maintain the solution, and how much change they can absorb.
Risk and compliance
The personal data involved, sector rules and your appetite for automated decisions.

Use-case prioritisation and data audit

We collect candidate use cases from interviews with the people doing the work, then score each on value and feasibility. Value means hours saved, response time, error reduction or revenue at stake, estimated from your own volumes rather than industry averages. Feasibility means data availability, integration effort, risk and how easy the result is to measure.

QuadrantWhat it meansTypical action
High value, high feasibilityClear process, good data, measurablePilot first
High value, low feasibilityWorth doing, but data or systems block itFix the data or systems, then revisit
Low value, high feasibilityEasy but smallUse an off-the-shelf tool or a simple workflow
Low value, low feasibilityHard and smallDrop it

For the top candidates we audit the data directly: sample records, field completeness, duplicates, language mix, where Arabic and English versions disagree and who can change what. This is often where the plan changes.

Build, buy or configure

RouteWhen it fitsTrade-off
Buy a SaaS toolThe need is common, such as meeting notes, a help-desk bot or email draftingFast and cheap to start, but limited control over data location and behaviour
Configure AI features in tools you already pay forYour CRM or help desk already includes AI features that cover the needLowest effort, but tied to that vendor's roadmap and pricing
Build on a model APIThe process is specific to your business or touches several systemsMore control and fit, with build and maintenance costs
Build with self-hosted modelsStrict data requirements or very high volumeMost control, and the highest infrastructure and skills burden

Pilot design, governance and PDPL

  1. Define the scope

One process, one channel, one team, with the tasks the pilot will and won't handle.

  2. Set success criteria

Measurable targets agreed in advance, such as accuracy on a test set, handoff rate or handling time, plus the result that would mean stopping.

  3. Set a baseline

Measure the current process before the pilot starts, so the comparison is honest.

  4. Run and decide

A fixed period with real users, a review against the criteria and a written go, change or stop decision.

Governance is sized to the risk. We draft an AI use policy for staff, an approval matrix for automated actions, logging and retention rules, and a named owner for each system. On data protection, we map the personal data each use case processes against the UAE PDPL (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021): the legal basis, notices to customers, transfers outside the UAE when a model provider processes data abroad, and how data subject requests would be handled. Businesses in DIFC or ADGM fall under those free zones' own data protection laws, and health data carries additional rules. We flag these points for your legal adviser; we don't give legal opinions.

What a paid discovery delivers

Readiness report
Ratings across processes, data, systems, people and risk, with the evidence behind each.
Prioritised use-case list
Scored on value and feasibility, with the assumptions written down so you can challenge them.
Data audit findings
What's usable now, what must be fixed and who owns the fix.
Build or buy recommendation
For each top use case, with named tool options where buying is the better route.
Pilot plan
Scope, success criteria, baseline, timeline, team roles and a budget estimate for the build.
Governance pack
Draft AI use policy, approval matrix and a PDPL checklist for your legal review.

Discovery is a fixed-fee engagement, priced after an initial call based on the number of departments, systems and use cases in scope. The deliverables are yours to use with any vendor. If you build with us, the AI agent cost guide shows how build budgets are structured.

Questions buyers ask

Will you tell us how much we'll save?

We estimate the value of each use case from your own volumes and state the assumptions. We don't promise savings; the pilot is how you find out.

Do we have to build with you afterwards?

No. The plan is written so your team or another vendor can deliver it.

Who needs to be involved from our side?

A sponsor who can make decisions, the people who run each process and someone who knows your systems. Interviews are short and scheduled around their work.

Can you help us write an AI policy?

Yes. We draft a practical policy covering which tools staff may use, what data can go into them and who approves new uses, for your legal and management review.

What if the answer is that AI isn't worth it yet?

Then the report says so and explains what would need to change. That's a useful result if it stops an expensive project that wouldn't work.

Tell us the processes you're considering, the systems you use and who would sponsor the work. We'll propose a discovery scope. Get a project proposal.
