Local SEO for Dubai & UAE Businesses

Local SEO for businesses that serve customers in specific Dubai areas or across the emirates. We handle your Google Business Profile, Apple Maps and Bing Places listings, consistent business details, a review process that stays within the rules, and location pages that are worth indexing.

Who local SEO is for

  • Clinics, dental practices, salons and gyms that customers choose by distance, reviews and opening hours.
  • Home services companies covering several communities or emirates without a shopfront in each.
  • Multi-branch businesses whose branches have inconsistent names, hours or phone numbers across Google, Apple and directories.
  • Car rental and delivery businesses whose customers search 'near me' on a phone and call straight from the map.

For many local searches the map results appear above the ordinary website results. In those searches your profile does more work than your homepage, so we spend a lot of time on the profile.

Google Business Profile done properly

Eligibility and verification
Google requires in-person contact with customers during stated hours. Businesses that visit customers are set up as service-area businesses with the address hidden. Verification is often by video, which needs signage, equipment or proof of management on camera, so we prepare you for it.
Categories and services
The primary category has a large effect on which searches you appear for. We research categories competitors use, choose the most accurate one, and list services in English and Arabic where you serve both.
Hours
Regular hours, special hours for Ramadan, Eid and public holidays, and separate hours for departments where Google supports them. Wrong hours are a common source of bad reviews.
Business name
Your real-world name, as on your trade licence and signage. Adding keywords such as 'Best Dental Clinic Dubai Marina' breaches Google's guidelines and can get the profile suspended.
Posts, photos and products
Real photos of the premises, team and work, and updates when something changes. We don't use stock images.

Dubai areas, other emirates and local pages

Customers in Dubai search by community: Business Bay, JLT, Dubai Marina, Al Barsha, JVC, Deira, Al Quoz. Customers in the rest of the country often search by emirate, such as Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ajman. A single profile cannot rank everywhere, because proximity matters. What you can control is where you have a verified location, which areas you declare as your service area, and which pages on your site explain coverage.

A local landing page earns its place only when it says something specific to that area. That might be which branch serves it, typical travel or delivery times you actually commit to, parking or access notes, area-specific services, local photos, or the regulator that applies in that emirate. Pages that swap the city name into the same paragraph are what our competitors publish in bulk. Search engines treat them as doorway pages, and customers don't trust them. We write fewer, better pages, and only for areas you really serve.

Consistent business details and other map platforms

NAP consistency
Name, address and phone number are written the same way on your website, Google, Apple, Bing, Facebook and the directories that matter. UAE addresses vary in format (building, street, community, P.O. Box), so we choose one form in English and one in Arabic and use them everywhere.
Location details
Map pins placed on the right entrance, with landmarks, floor and unit, and a Makani number for Dubai addresses where it helps customers and couriers find you.
Apple Maps
Managed through Apple Business Connect. iPhone users searching in Maps, Siri or Spotlight see this listing, not your Google profile, and a large share of UAE smartphone users are on iPhone.
Bing Places
Bing's business listings also feed other services that use Bing's data. Listings can be imported from Google Business Profile and then corrected.
Website markup
LocalBusiness structured data on each location page, matching the listing details exactly.

A review strategy without fake reviews

  • We set up a simple request after each completed job or visit, by WhatsApp, SMS or email, with a direct link to the review form.
  • Every customer gets the same request. Asking only happy customers (review gating) and offering discounts or gifts for reviews both breach Google's policies.
  • We don't buy, write or swap reviews, and we don't post reviews from staff or agencies. Google removes them and can restrict the profile.
  • Replies are written in the reviewer's language, Arabic or English, including to negative reviews, which future customers read closely.
  • Clearly fake or abusive reviews are reported through Google's process with evidence. Removal is Google's decision, not ours.

Where the request can be automated from your booking system or CRM, see CRM automation and WhatsApp automation.

Process, scope and cost

  1. Audit

Every location's Google, Apple and Bing listings, duplicate or unclaimed profiles, NAP consistency, reviews, and how the site covers your areas.

  2. Clean-up

Claim or merge duplicates, correct details, fix categories and hours, and resolve suspended or unverified profiles where possible.

  3. Pages and markup

Location or area pages for areas you really serve, linked from the site structure, with matching structured data.

  4. Ongoing

Monthly listing checks, photos and updates, the review process and replies, and reporting on calls, direction requests and website clicks from listings.

Not included: buying reviews, creating profiles at addresses where you don't operate, and mass directory submissions. Cost depends mainly on the number of locations, the state of the existing listings, whether Arabic is included and how many area pages need writing. Local SEO also runs as part of the wider SEO programme. We price after the audit.

Questions buyers ask

Can we rank in areas where we don't have an office?

In the map results, only to a limited extent, because distance is a major factor. A good area page on your website can still rank in normal results where you genuinely serve that area.

Can we use a virtual office or co-working address?

Google doesn't allow profiles at addresses where you don't meet customers or have staff during stated hours. Using one risks suspension. Service-area businesses can hide their address instead.

Our profile was suspended. Can you help?

Usually, if the business meets the guidelines. We find the likely cause, correct it and file a reinstatement request with evidence. Google makes the decision.

Should branches have separate pages on the website?

Yes, if each branch has its own address and team. Each page should carry that branch's details, hours, services and directions, and link to its profile.

How do we get more reviews without breaking the rules?

Ask every customer, at the right moment, with a one-tap link, and reply to every review. Consistency beats campaigns.

Tell us how many locations you have, which areas you serve and the link to your current Google profile. We will reply with what we'd fix first. Get a proposal.
