Websites, Software & Automation for Retail & Ecommerce

Selling online in the UAE means local payment methods, cash on delivery, same-day delivery expectations and compliant VAT invoices. We build and connect the store, stock, payments and delivery so orders flow without manual re-entry.

Where online retail breaks in the UAE

A retailer with shops and a website usually has stock in a POS or ERP, products in the storefront and orders in a courier portal. Stock is updated overnight or by hand, so the site sells items that sold out in-store that afternoon. Cash on delivery orders are confirmed by phone, courier remittances are reconciled in a spreadsheet, and invoices are generated in a format the accountant has to fix.

UAE customers also expect things that templates built for other markets do not handle well: Arabic and English, prices in AED including VAT, COD alongside cards and buy-now-pay-later, delivery slots by emirate, and a WhatsApp number that actually answers.

The workflows we build for

Store builds
Shopify when you want a managed platform with a large app ecosystem and low maintenance; WooCommerce when you need full control over hosting, data and custom logic on WordPress. Either way, bilingual storefronts with proper right-to-left layout, product pages built for mobile, and checkout that asks only for what delivery needs.
Catalogue and inventory sync
One source of truth for products, prices and stock, usually your POS or ERP, syncing to the store at a frequency that matches your sales pace. Stock can be held per branch or warehouse, and a safety buffer stops overselling on fast-moving items.
UAE payment gateways
Card payments through a gateway licensed for UAE merchants, Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported, and buy-now-pay-later providers if they suit your average order value. The choice depends on your platform, settlement currency, fees and whether you need tokenised cards for repeat purchases.
Cash on delivery
COD as a checkout option with rules you control, such as order value limits, blocked areas or customers with previous refused deliveries. Automated order confirmation by WhatsApp before dispatch reduces failed deliveries, and courier COD remittances are matched against orders automatically.
Delivery partners
Integration with your courier or last-mile partner so paid orders create shipments, labels print, tracking numbers return to the order and the customer is updated. Same-day and next-day options can be shown by emirate and cut-off time.
Abandoned-cart WhatsApp
A reminder on WhatsApp for customers who started checkout and gave their number with consent to marketing. Because these are business-initiated messages, they use approved marketing templates under Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform rules, and replies open a customer service window your team can answer in. See WhatsApp automation.
VAT invoices
Tax invoices with your TRN, the correct 5% VAT breakdown, and the details UAE rules require, generated automatically for each order and credit notes for returns. Orders and invoices sync to your accounting system so month-end is not a re-keying exercise.

One COD order, end to end

  1. The customer checks out with cash on delivery

Stock is reserved and the order is flagged for confirmation.

  2. A WhatsApp confirmation is sent

The customer confirms or cancels, and unconfirmed orders are held.

  3. A shipment is created with the courier

The label prints in the warehouse and tracking returns to the order.

  4. The tax invoice is issued

Generated with VAT and TRN, and synced to accounting.

  5. Cash is reconciled

The courier remittance is matched to the order and exceptions are listed for follow-up.

Services that apply

Implementation risks

  • Inventory sync is only as good as the data in the POS or ERP. SKU mismatches between systems need cleaning up before launch.
  • Gateway onboarding requires business documents and approval, which can take longer than the store build. Start it early.
  • WhatsApp marketing messages need recorded opt-in. Existing customer lists often cannot be messaged without it.
  • Changing platform can lose search rankings if URLs and redirects are not mapped. We plan redirects before migrating.
